IMPORTANT INFORMATION RETAINING TO MEMBERSHIP
- Non-Commit Agreement memberships are sold on an ON-GOING basis. A member may terminate by giving notice in writing in person at the RAC, using the club’s Authorized Termination Form, received at the club by the 10th of the month prior in which (s)he wishes to terminate. Members will be held responsible for all fees due until termination form is received.
- An Annual Fee of $49 will be collected at sign up for all members. The fee will then occur yearly on the membership anniversary billing date. This fee occurs regardless of use, frozen status and/or pending cancellation.
- A $3.00 transaction fee will be charged monthly and added to the monthly payment for all memberships billed via credit card and/or debit card.
- All prepaid memberships are non-refundable and will include the Annual Fee.
- Raynham Athletic Club reserves the right to alter rates at its discretion. Changes will be posted at the club, at least 30 days in advance of the change.
- There is a $25.00 service fee assessed on any returned check or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).
- If your monthly dues are more than 60 days delinquent, the entire unpaid balance will become due in full.
- Outdoor Pool Club is not included in membership, it is an additional fee.
MEDICAL FREEZES
A member may freeze his/her membership once for up to 90 days
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- I recognize that exercise is not without some risk to the musculoskeletal systems (sprains, strains) and cardiorespiratory system (dizziness, fainting, abnormal heartbeat, discomfort in breathing, abnormal blood pressure response, in rare instances heart attack or stroke). I hereby certify that I know of no medical problem that would increase my risk of illness as a result of participation in an exercise program. I hereby release Raynham Athletic Club, its owners, directors and its employees from any and all responsibilities or liabilities to me for injuries that might be sustained while doing any of the exercises, activities or using any of the facilities and equipment at the club.
- A holder of a membership and all persons entitled to the privilege under the membership shall abide by and fully comply with all rules and regulations as stated herein or as posted in the club. If a member or person entitled to the privileges of the membership fails to abide the rules and regulations, or act in a manner that is considered inappropriate behavior, Raynham Athletic Club shall have the right to revoke the membership by giving notice of the revocation to the holder of the membership.
- Raynham Athletic Club policies are subject to change as herein noted.
- Club programming and opening/closing times are subject to change.
- Pre-emptive Consumer’s Right to Cancel. The applicant may cancel this agreement without any penalty or further obligation within three (3) days from the date of application submission by mailing a written notice by certified mail to Raynham Athletic Club, 1250 New State Hwy., Raynham, MA 02767. The notice must say that you do not wish to be bound by this agreement and must be delivered or mailed before midnight of the third (3) business day after the agreement is signed.
Outdoor Swim Club
1. Raynham Outdoor Swim Club has a no-refund policy and memberships are non-transferable.
2. Raynham Outdoor Swim Club is separate and exclusive of indoor membership unless otherwise noted.
3. Outside food and drinks may be brought in. No glass containers or alcohol of any kind allowed.
4. Raynham Outdoor Swim Club is not responsible for any lost or stolen items,
5. Raynham Outdoor Swim Club reserves the right to close all or part of the facility at any time due to inclement weather, maintenance, and private parties.
6. Lockers are available on a daily basis. Locks left overnight will be removed along with the contents of the locker.
7. Towels are available for purchase at the front desk.
8. Wristbands given out at the front desk, must be worn while at the pool.
Rules and Regulations
1. State law requires that you take a cleansing shower before entering the pool.
2. Al children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children who are non-swimmers must be accompanied in the water by an adult. Parents must supervise their toddlers and non-swimmers in all areas at all times.
3. No fins may be used except for a medical reason that has been approved by the Aquatics Director. (Black fins are never permitted; they leave black marks on the pool`s surface.)
4. Any person having an infection or a communicable disease is prohibited from using the pool.
5. Unsanitary personal practices (spitting, spouting water, etc.) are not permitted in the pool.
6. Kick-boards are available only for instruction and lap swimming.
7. Prohibited activities include running, pushing, horseplay or excessive noise at the pool or in the locker rooms. Squirt guns are not permitted.
8. Music may only be used with earphones.
9. Children who are not yet toilet trained must wear a swim diaper and bathing suit in the pool.
10. While in the pool, no hanging, sitting or standing on ropes or lane lines.
Al outdoor pool club members and guests must exit the pool and locker rooms by 5:30pm.
Raynham Outdoor Pool Club reserves the right to alter the hours without prior notice.
Check In and Guest Policy
Only members and guests are allowed into the facility.
Members must present their ID card at the front desk.
Members are encouraged to bring guests to the club. Guests must sign a guest registration, present an ID (if 18 or older) and pay the current guest fees upon entering the facility.
